Kuih (also spelled kueh or kway) is a broad term that can describe many small dessert items. Several Asian countries, including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand, have their own variants.

Unlike most Western desserts, kuih are often made with rice/glutinous rice flour or tapioca flour and steamed instead of baked, which give them a chewy texture. Pandan Bakery have chosen to focus on the flavours of pandan, coconutĀ and ‘gula melaka’ (aka palm (coconut) sugar) in our kuih, and most of our selection isĀ gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan friendly too!
